Project: Awareness campaign for nonprofit Beyond Type 1’s ‘See The Signs’ of diabetes program.

Problem to solve: Diabetes diagnoses are missed constantly because too few people know the signs of the disease. Even by healthcare professionals, the symptoms of undiagnosed diabetes are often misdiagnosed as the flu, a growth spurt, or symptoms of stress. In type 1 diabetes, this can be fatal. In type 2 diabetes, this can lead to severe health complications.

My role: As brand strategist and campaign manager (supported by a stellar project manager), I built the structure and plan for the campaign, then briefed and led an internal, cross-functional team of XX to move it forward.
